Especially interested in: I love writing about Pearl! Her relationship with Steven, mentoring Connie, her friendship with Greg, being with other pearls, and in ships with Bismuth, Volleyball (or both of them), and Amethyst. I'd also be happy to write her with Garnet or with Hessonite (my favorite cracky antagonistic ship), though I have not done that before. I love to write Bis, Volley, Amethyst, and Garnet as the main characters of fics as well! I write a lot of post-show canon-compliant stuff, but I'm also very open to AUs as long as it's something I can reasonably do (a modern AU, other universes I am familiar with, 80s or 90s). If you want something specific and can't tell from this or from my work whether I would be willing, feel free to contact me and ask!

Unwilling to address: I like to write sad/melancholy stuff but I am not interested in writing any super dark themes, especially no graphic violence or self-harm. As far as characters, I'm not interested in writing things that focus on the Diamonds, Jasper, or Rose. With Rose specifically, I enjoy writing her as an important part of Pearl's past, but I'm not interested in writing Rose in Era 3 or with Pearl in the main story of an AU. Lots of folks tackle these characters way better than I do, and I find them stressful to get too deeply into.

Experience: I am all of these things! A fat cis woman (though I am happy to do my best with other genders), aromantic asexual lesbian (not sex-repulsed), and continually learning to function better with (mild/moderate) ADHD. As for bookstores, I was an independent children's bookseller for ten years, and would be happy to provide tips/details/industry talk to make your bookstore setting (or children's literature industry setting) feel more realistic.

Other notes about labor offered: All of my expertise listed is in the context of my experience as a white lower-middle-class person in the northeastern United States. I will do my utmost to provide advice and suggestions that work for what you're writing, including doing a bit of my own research as needed, just want to clarify where my perspective is coming from!
