Length/scope: Depends how much the bidder contributes. How much time I'm willing to devote to your work is dependent on the final bid amount. $5-$20, I will do a single pass on a work of up to 10,000 words. $25-$45, I will do a single pass on a work of up to 20,000 words, or two passes on a 10,000 word piece. $50-$80, I will work with you from beginning to end on a piece up to 10,000 words, whatever it takes to get you from where you are to where you feel it's done. Or two rounds of revision on a 20,000 word piece. $85-$95, I will work with you from beginning to end on a piece of up to 20,000 words, whatever it takes to get you to where you feel it's done. $100+, I will do a single pass on a work of 100,000 words or more, on a basis of 5,000 words per $5 bid. So up to 120,000 words for $120, 145,000 words for $145, etc. If what you want isn't outlined here for a particular price point, absolutely feel free to run it by me on tumblr. I enjoy helping writers; I just want to be realistic about how much time I can give.

Notes about labor offered: While I'm offering to be a writing beta, I would like to specify that I can focus on either plot structure and ideas or grammar and spelling, as desired. I've got a very good grasp of English and an eye for detail, if you just need a spell checker. If you're writing for a fandom I'm familiar with, I'm quite willing to check for consistency and accuracy to canon. My favorite possible thing you could ask of me, though, is as professional spaghetti thrower. Sometimes you've hit a writing wall and you don't know where to go; I love being the one to unpick a complicated plot knot and get you on your way. If what you need is just a second set of eyes that can guide you on the next steps in your story, regardless of where you are, I'd love to help.

As an aside, though I don't consider myself expert enough to offer -picking services, I am an autistic asexual aromantic woman and would be happy to provide writing advice based on any of those identities.

Especially interested in: I am willing to beta for any subject or fandom, including original work. If you're only looking for a beta familiar with a particular fandom, I am currently knowledgeable on:

Unwilling to address: I am willing to do grammar and spelling edits for anything except work focused on migraines or headaches. I have nothing against the topic, but I'm one of those people for whom reading about headaches gives me one.

For more engaged editing, concerning structure, plot, ideas, etc, I do not want to edit works with a focus on:
- headaches/migraines
- scatological kink
- extreme gore
- pedophilia
- suicide attempts, suicidal ideation
- psychiatric holds/forced mental health treatment
