Areas of expertise: The specialist expertise I am offering is sensitivity reading for autism.
The culture-picking I am offering is America-picking, particularly for the Upper Midwest.

Experience: I am autistic. However, I am verbal and do not experience meltdowns or shutdowns, so I am not able to offer expertise on the experiences of being nonverbal or experiencing shutdowns or meltdowns.
I have lived in the Upper Midwest my entire life. I have mostly lived in urban areas, though I attended college in a rural college town, so I have that experience as well.
Side note: I am a semi-professional copy editor and am very adept at catching SPAG issues. I am planning to give SPAG-related feedback on whatever fic I wind up working with, in addition to offering feedback on autism representation and/or America-picking.

Other notes about labor offered: I have previously been active in the following fandoms: Check Please, Yuri on Ice, Lizzie Bennet Diaries, Carry On, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Good Omens, and Sherlock. While I am willing to work with fics in other fandoms, I'll have most expertise in those fandoms.
Please also note that I am a somewhat blunt person. I do my best not to be mean or cruel, but if you bid on my feedback, receiving feedback from me may involve me telling you that you have made a mistake and should correct it.

Especially interested in: I love fluffy romance, gender exploration, and found family.

Unwilling to address: I do not want to work with fics where abusive relationships are romanticized or where the author is relying on bigoted tropes, such as tropes based in racism, transphobia, anti-Semitism, etc. If I start editing your fic and come to realize that you are relying on such tropes by accident, I will let you know and ask you to make changes to the fic. (That is not a promise to catch any and all problematic aspects of your fic, just a boundary that I don't want to work with fics I know are relying on bigoted tropes.) I also refuse to work with fics featuring workplace romances, incest, romantic/sexual relationships between a minor and an adult, dubcon, noncon, any kink or D/s elements, cannibalism, or Severus Snape as a romantic partner. Please take the max rating of T seriously; I do not want to work with fics with on-the-page sex.
